TRENDS FOR 2012

Well this year is going to be a fun year!

It seems 2012, is more about anything goes REVIVAL and Reworking 20^th century looks, using up to the minute Luxurious Colours and Colouring techniques to bring those looks alive.

• Long Hair
• Big Blowdrys
• Free Flowing locks
• Shiny and luxurious
• If you have a parting make sure it’s an obvious one.

Use Blowdry lotions, volume mousses and wet use serums to create gorgeous bouncy hair.

If you’re not into strong partings, Fringes Go Short this year, think girl with the dragon tattoo.

Wet looks are also in – really good with mid-length and short styles.

Midlength the modern bob is back – not so much of the graduated style, but softer.  Soft waves rather than tight curls.

If you have short hair, go more for the rock crop, wet look, spiky hairlines.

 MENS

 Well the soft preppy look is still around with the younger boys, although this time it’s the Indie/rock look.

The office look is short back and sides with softer long layers and fringe so that at the weekend the front can be quiffed back.

Undercuts for the more adventurous or men with curly hair.

Smooth and slick is also the order of the day for men who follow the Wet look trend this summer.
